So Jim Knowles to Penn State is officially official. Despite being from Pennsylvania, still seems like a lateral if not a downgrade when you compare OSU to Penn State. But, gotta do watcha gotta do I guess. Besides this being announced on the day of the celebration, no hard feelings. November 1st in The Shoe will be a top 5 game of the year played at Noon on Fox thats for sure.

Anyways, Jim Knowles thank you. You turned the defense around completely in the 3 years you were here. You took over a very bad defense and made them #1 in just about every category by the end and most importantly, helped win a National Championship. I will always be thankful for that.

Now to Buckeye Nation. please do not go threatening Knowles like some of you did to Ryan Day and his family. You know who you are. 6 days ago this guy is a hero. Just because he makes a change for himself, doesn’t change who he is or what he did for Ohio State Football. He put the Silver Bullets back on the map. They will be fine. Its Ohio State and we are fresh off a Natty. They will hire someone else (if needed).

Again thank you Jim. But cant wait for Zone 6 to tear up that Nittany Lion defense next year, respectfully.
